A Valentine’s Evening Ritual (Tea + Bath + Breath)
This ritual is designed to calm the nervous system, support hormonal balance, and create space for connection — with yourself or someone you love.
There’s no right or wrong way to do this. Choose what feels supportive.
🌸 1. Valentine’s Herbal Tea Recipe
Ingredients (per cup):
- 1 tsp dried rose petals
- 1 tsp chamomile flowers
- Optional: pinch of lavender or lemon balm
Method:
- Add herbs to a cup or teapot.
- Pour over freshly boiled water.
- Cover and steep for 5–10 minutes.
- Sip slowly and intentionally.
Why this works:
Rose supports emotional openness, chamomile calms the nervous system, and lavender gently eases tension.
🛁 2. Optional Valentine’s Bath Soak
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Epsom salts
- ½ cup bicarbonate of soda
- Handful dried rose petals or lavender
Add to warm bath water. Soak for 15–20 minutes.
🌬 3. Simple Nervous System Grounding (2 minutes)
Sit or lie comfortably.
- Place one hand on your chest, one on your belly.
- Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 counts.
- Exhale through your mouth for 6 counts.
- Repeat 5 times.
This signals safety to the nervous system — the foundation of connection.
Connection begins when the body feels safe enough to soften.
