Our Story

Welcome to Flowers from my Meadow, a family-run botanical wellness business in the Western Cape, South Africa. We believe some of life's loveliest rituals are also the simplest: a fragrant cup of tea, flowers on the table, a moment to slow down, or the pleasure of caring for yourself with intention.

THE MEADOW TODAY
A modern meadow, rooted in nature
Flowers from my Meadow grew from a love of plants and a wish to make beautiful botanicals easier to discover, use and enjoy. Our meadow brings together traditional plant knowledge, everyday creativity and the personal care of a small, independent South African business.
Here you will find loose-leaf teas, dried flowers and herbs, golden ritual lattes, botanical creams and balms, tinctures, glycerites and gifts. Some are carefully handcrafted by us in small batches; others are thoughtfully selected to sit naturally alongside the rituals we love.
Our commitment to thoughtful botanical ingredients is also reflected in our relationship with Faithful to Nature, where products from our range are listed following their ingredient-screening process.

Our roots run deeper
Long before there was a business called Flowers from my Meadow, our families were tending gardens, cultivating crops and finding meaning in what the land could give. From the garden allotments of Gloucestershire to the banks of South Africa's Orange River, that connection to growing things has travelled through generations.
We have given those family stories their own place to bloom, as a tribute to the people and places that continue to inspire our meadow.
