Delivery to high-risk areas.
We take care when arranging your parcel's journey. Our delivery partners sometimes identify particular destinations as higher-risk or difficult to access, and an additional courier surcharge may apply.
If your address is affected, we'll contact you with the details so you can understand your options before dispatch.
A little clarity
What does “high-risk” mean?
Couriers may classify a delivery address based on their current local safety assessments, vehicle access or other operational restrictions. Classifications are set by our logistics partners and may change over time.
Being in a particular town or neighbourhood does not automatically tell us whether your individual delivery can be completed without an additional charge; the courier's current assessment determines that.
If your delivery address is affected

Courier assessment
Our delivery partner identifies whether your address has an additional access or safety-related delivery surcharge.

We'll email you
If an extra charge applies, our team will send you an email explaining the surcharge and the next step.

Additional payment
A separate second payment is required to cover the surcharge before we can dispatch to that address.

Possible alternatives
Use another address
You may be able to provide an alternative delivery address in an area the courier can serve without the same surcharge. Please check with us before the parcel is dispatched.
Ask about courier collection
Where our delivery partner supports it, collection at a designated courier facility may be possible. Availability and any charges depend on the partner and location.
Important to know
Every delivery is considered individually.
A high-risk surcharge is an additional courier charge and is not necessarily included in the standard delivery fee. We will explain any such amount by email before it is due.
We do not publish a fixed list of higher-risk neighbourhoods or quote one universal surcharge amount here, because courier assessments and available options can change.
Please do not assume delivery is guaranteed until the courier has confirmed the route and arrangements. We will work with you to discuss the available options.
