How to Prepare Safely

This blend contains dried Elderberries and must be cooked, not simply steeped. For one generous cup, add approximately 1–2 teaspoons of loose tea to 300ml water in a saucepan. Bring to a full boil and boil for at least 10 minutes. Reduce the heat and simmer for another 10 minutes, adding water if needed. Strain thoroughly through a fine tea filter or cloth to remove elderberries, other plant solids and fine Mullein hairs. Enjoy warm or chill the fully cooked and strained tea before serving over ice. Never prepare as an uncooked cold brew or eat the dried berries directly. Use only properly identified, ripe Elderberries with stems and leaves removed.

No. Our Lung Detox Tea contains Mullein Leaves only. Mullein flowers are not included in this blend.

No. The blend is naturally caffeine-free and does not contain traditional black, green or other caffeinated tea leaves.
What does Lung Detox Tea taste like?

Why should I strain Mullein tea thoroughly?
Mullein leaves naturally have a fine, soft surface. We recommend passing the finished infusion through a fine tea strainer or filter before drinking to remove small pieces of plant material.
Is Siberian Ginseng the same as regular ginseng?
No. Siberian Ginseng is Eleutherococcus senticosus. Despite its common name, it is not a true ginseng of the Panax genus.
