Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong prepared Snow Chrysanthemum infusion
  • 150 g honey

How to prepare

  1. Prepare and thoroughly strain a strong culinary Snow Chrysanthemum (Coreopsis tinctoria) infusion using the product's infusion instructions; measure 1 cup of prepared infusion. The original recipe does not specify a flower-to-water ratio.
  2. Allow the brewed infusion to cool until warm, rather than hot.
  3. Stir in 150 g honey until evenly combined.
  4. Transfer to a clean food-safe jar, cover and refrigerate promptly.
  5. Use as a small drizzle over desserts. Keep refrigerated between servings.

Kitchen notes — refrigerated syrup only

This mixture contains significant added water from the prepared infusion. It is not shelf-stable honey and is not a tested preserved or canned syrup. Keep refrigerated; the original archived recipe does not specify a validated use-by period, acidity, water activity, food-processing controls or storage duration. Do not store unrefrigerated or make preservation claims. Honey is unsuitable for infants under 12 months. Use appropriately sourced culinary Snow Chrysanthemum flowers, correctly identified as Coreopsis tinctoria (Asteraceae), not Chrysanthemum morifolium. No therapeutic claims are made.
