Original source & culinary notes

  • Source accuracy: The Stinging Nettle Leaf original product-description recipe specifies 2 tsp dried Stinging Nettle Leaf, 500 ml freshly boiled water, half a thinly sliced green apple, half a sliced lemon, 1–2 tsp optional honey and ice. It requires a covered 5–10-minute steep, straining, cooling and refrigeration until chilled. No serving yield or shelf life is invented.
  • Leaf versus root: The original recipe calls for culinary dried Urtica dioica leaf; do not use the separately sold Stinging Nettle Root. Do not substitute raw stinging nettles without appropriate handling and food-preparation knowledge.
  • Fresh fruit and chilling: Wash and inspect the apple and lemon, use clean food-safe utensils and ice, cool the herbal infusion promptly, refrigerate and enjoy freshly prepared.
  • Botanical precautions: Avoid with known nettle, apple or citrus sensitivities. Ask a qualified professional about individual botanical suitability with pregnancy, breastfeeding, medications or relevant conditions. Optional honey is not suitable for infants under 12 months.
  • Photo integrity: Only the genuine dried nettle leaf 20g pouch is shown as ingredient photography, not an invented prepared-drink image.
