Dried Stinging Nettle Leaf (Urtica dioica) is a traditional leafy botanical, recognised for its naturally deep green colour and distinctive green, earthy herbal character.
Traditionally prepared as a herbal infusion, the dried leaves create what is commonly known as nettle tea — a pleasantly herbaceous botanical cup that can be enjoyed on its own or blended with complementary herbs.
Stinging Nettle has a long history within traditional European herbal practices, where the leaves have been gathered and prepared in teas, foods and a variety of botanical preparations.
At Flowers from my Meadow, our Stinging Nettle Leaf is kept pure and uncomplicated — carefully packed as a single dried botanical for tea, blending and traditional herbal preparations.
How to Prepare
Add 1–2 teaspoons of dried Stinging Nettle Leaf to a cup or teapot. Pour over freshly boiled water, cover and allow to steep for 5–10 minutes.
