Ingredients & materials

• 2 tablespoons completely dried lavender blossoms
• 1 tablespoon completely dried chamomile flowers
• One small, clean, dry cotton or muslin bag that can be closed securely
• Optional: a clean, stable small dish or tray for display on a bedside table

How to make the sachet

1. Make sure the dried botanicals and muslin bag are completely dry, clean and free of foreign material.
2. Gently combine the lavender blossoms and chamomile flowers in a clean, dry bowl.
3. Spoon the mixture into the small muslin bag without overfilling it.
4. Close and tie the bag securely to prevent loose flowers or small pieces escaping.
5. Place the securely closed sachet on a stable bedside table or tray, well away from your face, pillow and bedding. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
6. For a decorative refresh, gently reposition the closed sachet; do not open it or scatter petals in bedding. Replace the sachet if it becomes damp, musty or damaged.

Safety & care

This is a dry, decorative botanical sachet only. Do not put it inside bedding, on a pillow, under a mattress, in a cot or anywhere a baby, child or pet could reach it. Never use it as a child's sleep aid. Chamomile belongs to the daisy/Asteraceae family; avoid use if sensitive to chamomile or related plants, and avoid lavender if allergic or fragrance-sensitive. If the scent causes discomfort, remove the sachet. Do not eat or brew the contents; keep away from eyes and avoid inhaling loose botanical particles. Keep the sachet dry and away from flames and heat sources. Discard if damp, mouldy or visibly contaminated. No claim is made that this sachet improves sleep or treats any condition.
