Commiphora spp. · Aromatic Myrrh Resin Tears · 10g

Richly earthy, resinous and distinctive, Myrrh has been valued for centuries as a fragrant material in incense traditions and botanical craft cultures.

Myrrh is obtained from trees of the genus Commiphora. The exact species for this particular resin has not been confirmed, so we identify it conservatively as Commiphora spp.

Our little 10g pouch contains natural aromatic Myrrh resin for exploring its colour, texture and traditional fragrance.

Ingredient

Natural Myrrh Resin (Commiphora spp.).

How to Use

Use only a very small amount with suitable resin-incense equipment in a well-ventilated area, following the burner's instructions. Molten resin, charcoal and burners get extremely hot; never leave them unattended.

Botanical Ritual Idea — Resin Study

Display a few Myrrh resin pieces in a dry, labelled botanical dish away from direct heat, children and pets, and appreciate their natural colour and aroma without burning.

Precautions

Not for ingestion or self-directed medicinal use. Burning resins produces smoke that can irritate the lungs. Avoid incense smoke near children, pets, pregnant people and those with asthma or breathing conditions. Keep any heating equipment away from flammable materials.

Size & Packaging

10g Myrrh Resin in a resealable kraft mini pouch.

Storage

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
