Honeybush Tea is a beautifully simple South African herbal infusion made from 100% pure Honeybush (Cyclopia spp.). With no complicated blend of ingredients, this single botanical allows the natural character of Honeybush to take centre stage in every cup.

Naturally smooth and gently sweet, Honeybush develops a warm amber-red infusion with a soft floral aroma and mellow, honey-like character. Its natural sweetness makes it particularly enjoyable on its own, without needing added sugar.

Honeybush has a long history as a traditional South African herbal tea and is closely associated with the Cape's indigenous botanical landscape. Naturally caffeine-free and free from traditional tea leaves, it offers a distinctly South African alternative to black or green tea.

Carefully packed in South Africa by Flowers from my Meadow, our Honeybush Tea reflects our Pure & Uncomplicated approach to botanicals: one beautiful plant, simply prepared and enjoyed as part of your everyday tea ritual.

How to Prepare

Use 1–2 teaspoons of Honeybush per cup.

Pour over freshly boiled water and allow to steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on your preferred strength.

Strain and enjoy warm, or allow the infusion to cool and serve over ice. Honeybush can be enjoyed on its own or with a little honey, lemon or milk according to preference.

Precautions

Honeybush is commonly enjoyed as a herbal infusion. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, managing a medical condition or are unsure whether Honeybush is suitable for you, seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional before use.

Size: 40 g resealable kraft pouch

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Reseal the pouch after use to help preserve the natural aroma and character of the Honeybush.

A story steeped in nature

Honeybush tells a story that begins much closer to home. Growing naturally within South Africa’s remarkable Cape floral landscape, this indigenous botanical has long been prepared as a traditional herbal infusion and remains a distinctly South African cup.

Its beauty lies in its simplicity. Made from 100% Honeybush (Cyclopia spp.), there is no complicated blend competing for attention. As the dried leaves and stems steep, they develop a warm amber-red colour with a naturally smooth, gently sweet flavour and soft floral, honey-like character.

Carefully packed by Flowers from my Meadow in South Africa, Honeybush perfectly reflects our Pure & Uncomplicated approach: one beautiful botanical, allowed to express its own colour, aroma and character — and a little piece of the Cape landscape in every cup.

From Leaf & Root to Cup

Loose leaf tea invites you to experience the botanical before, during and after brewing. As Honeybush steeps, its dried leaves and stems gradually soften and release their natural colour, aroma and flavour into the water.
