- Serve chilled.
Kitchen notes — soak fully and keep chilled
Never swallow dry chia seeds directly; the seeds expand considerably when exposed to liquid and may be unsuitable for people with swallowing difficulties. Ensure the chia is fully swollen before eating; add more liquid and allow additional chilling time if still crunchy or dry. Refrigerate during soaking and serving; this fresh pudding is not shelf-stable and no tested storage duration or finished yield is established. Check plant-milk and nut topping labels for allergens. Honey must never be given to infants under 12 months. Fibre-containing foods should be introduced gradually with adequate hydration. No therapeutic claims are made.
