Cymbopogon citratus · Cut Dried Lemongrass · Citrus Botanical Pantry
Fresh, bright and wonderfully aromatic, dried Lemongrass brings a naturally lemony fragrance to herbal teas, kitchen blends and cooling summer drinks.
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) is a tropical grass with long, slender leaves and naturally aromatic stems. It has been used for generations in Southeast Asian cooking and in traditional botanical infusions.
Our cut dried Lemongrass is a pure, single botanical with a crisp citrus aroma and a softly grassy, lemon-like flavour. It pairs especially well with Peppermint, Ginger, Hibiscus and complementary flowers.
At Flowers from my Meadow, we keep it pure and uncomplicated: fragrant dried Lemongrass, carefully packed for your home botanical pantry.
How to Prepare
For a herbal infusion: Add 1–2 teaspoons of dried Lemongrass to 250ml freshly boiled water. Cover, steep for 7–10 minutes, then strain. Enjoy warm or chilled.
For kitchen use: Add Lemongrass to fragrant broths, simmered syrups or spice blends, removing the fibrous pieces before serving.
Precautions
Use in ordinary culinary or herbal-tea quantities. If pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication or managing a medical condition, seek appropriate professional guidance before using concentrated herbal preparations. Stop use if sensitivity occurs.
Size & Packaging
20g cut dried Lemongrass in a resealable kraft pouch.
Storage
Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture to preserve the delicate citrus aroma.
