Dosage and Instructions
To Make a Tea (Decoction):
Simmer 1 teaspoon of dried turmeric pieces in 1½ cups of water for 15–20 minutes. Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance absorption. Strain and sip up to twice daily.
To Infuse in Oil:
Combine dried turmeric with a carrier oil (such as coconut or olive) and gently warm over a low double boiler or in a sunny window for 2–3 weeks. Strain and use topically for inflammation and skin support.
To Grind:
Use a spice grinder or mortar and pestle to create fresh turmeric powder as needed.
