Dried Skullcap Herb (Scutellaria lateriflora) is a traditional North American botanical belonging to the mint family, Lamiaceae, recognised for its slender stems, delicate leaves and small blue-to-violet flowers.

The dried aerial parts have a long history of use within North American herbal traditions and are commonly prepared in hot water to create a herbal infusion known as Skullcap tea.

When brewed, Skullcap produces a mild, earthy and gently herbaceous infusion. It can be prepared on its own or combined with complementary botanicals as part of a loose-leaf herbal blend.

How to Prepare
